The 2026 Kia EV4 is Expected in Canada Early 2026!

• Available Digital Key 2.0⁵ and other advanced features and technology target a new generation of drivers

In Canada, the EV4 is expected to be available in the following trims:

The sedan is being produced at Kia’s Autoland Gwangmyeong EVO Plant in South Korea.

Design and Aerodynamics

The EV4 boasts a distinctive presence with its low nose, sleek fastback roofline, and elongated tail, creating a sporty yet practical profile. Its modern face is highlighted by vertical headlamps and Kia's signature Star Map lighting pattern, which ties it visually to other innovative Kia electric vehicles. Available small cube LED headlights with Dynamic Welcome Lights add a premium touch. At the rear, vertical taillights and a two-piece roof spoiler enhance its aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency, contributing to a drag coefficient as low as 0.23 Cd for maximized range. Standard 17-inch wheels grace Light and Wind trims, while premium 19-inch wheels are available on higher trim levels.

Addressing common EV concerns, the EV4 is engineered for quick and convenient charging. Its DC fast-charging capability allows for a 10 to 80 percent charge in approximately 29 minutes for the standard battery and 31 minutes for the long-range battery. For seamless compatibility with the expanding charging infrastructure in Canada, the EV4 is equipped with a built-in North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. Furthermore, the innovative Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality adds remarkable versatility, enabling the EV4 to power external devices like laptops and lights, perfect for outdoor adventures or remote work. Kia's latest i-Pedal 3.0 system enhances the driving experience with one-pedal operation for acceleration and braking, working in tandem with the Smart Regenerative Braking function to optimize energy recapture and efficiency.

Luxurious and Connected Interior

Step inside the EV4, and you'll find a cabin that redefines modern minimalism and high-tech sophistication. A free-floating interface and a distinctive two-spoke steering wheel highlight the clean, open layout. High-quality materials and thoughtful design create an inviting atmosphere. The digital interface is headlined by a nearly 30-inch combined widescreen display, integrating two 12.3-inch screens for instrumentation and infotainment, along with a 5-inch touch panel for climate controls. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control with rear A/C vents. Higher trims elevate comfort with ventilated front seats (with driver-side memory) and a heated steering wheel. The cabin experience is further enhanced by 64-colour ambient lighting, an AI assistant, and a digital key function allowing smartphone control for remote vehicle functions.

Advanced Safety

The 2026 Kia EV4's comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems prioritizes your safety on Regina roads. Standard features include Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist. Additionally, Highway Driving Assist provides added convenience and safety on longer journeys.
